45 years ago today, Kuei Chih-hung’s Straw Dogs (only with more motorcycles and spearguns) came out…KILLERS ON WHEELS! Featuring so many hardcore stunts that when a stunt rider was injured on camera Kuei made him retake the shot before allowing him to go to the hospital, it’s about Danny Lee and pals heading to the beach for some sun and fun until they’re attacked by a pack of motorcycle-riding punks. Their cries of laughter and sweet summer lovin’ are buried beneath the aggro engine throb of these wildmen on wheels who manage to totally destroy their beachfront Air BnB before Danny Lee appeals to their better nature…with an outboard engine! Sun, sea breezes…and sin! Trapped inside a sandbox from Hell that God can’t even look at without crying!
